Please find below information about homework in Year 3, everything you need will be posted online so you can access it for home learning.

Homework: 

  • Homework is given out on Fridays.

  • Please bring in on the following Thursday.

  • Spellings will be sent home on a Friday and will be stuck in homework books. 

  • Homework will be rotated between literacy and numeracy each week. 

  • Reading should be daily - 20 minutes.

  • Times Tables Rock Stars daily - 5- 10 minutes.

  • This is following the KS2 homework policy.

Our class charity this year is Burnley Boys and Girls Club. 

Burnley Boys and Girls Club is Lancashire’s oldest youth organisation, providing a safe, fun, friendly and inclusive environment where all children and young people can learn, develop and grow together. We believe every young person should have the opportunity to feel valued, respected, supported and included, regardless of their background, abilities, circumstances or individual needs. Literacy is the focus this week for homework. Your child should have received a reading comprehension on Amelia EarHart. Please allow your child to read the comprehension through before answering the questions.
